Norman - The Oklahoma softball team is 1-and-1 in the O-U/Nike Classic.
The Sooners lost their first game to the Louisville Cardinals and won their second game against the Cardinals yesterday.
In the first game, no one scored in the first five innings. O-U left the bases loaded in the first two innings and stranded ten runners in the game. Oklahoma's Heather Scaglione tagged out two Louisville runners at home plate in the first and third innings.
Pinch-hitter Lisa Estes slugged a three-run home run in the top of the sixth inning for Louisville. The Sooners' only run came from starting pitcher Nicole Denes in the bottom of the sixth inning.
In the second game, the Sooners scored eight runs on nine hits and shut the Cardinals out.
