TULSA, Okla. (AP) _ Ken Tutt scored 22 of his game-high 25 points in the second half to help Oral Roberts pull away for a 75-61 victory over Chicago State in a Mid-Continent Conference game Thursday night.

Tutt had 16 points in the first 5:02 of the second half as the Golden Eagles (15-9, 8-5) stretched their 30-27 intermission lead to 50-36. The Cougars (9-18, 7-6) never sliced their deficit to less than 10 during the rest of the game.

ORU's biggest lead was 62-42 with 8:41 left. The Cougars reeled off nine straight points but the Golden Eagles sank 13-of-14 free throws in the final 4:06 to seal their victory.

The Golden Eagles made 25-of-26 free throws overall and the Cougars went 5-for-10.

Chicago State head coach Kevin Jones was ejected from the game after receiving two technical fouls. As a result, the Cougars were without any coach on the bench for the last 1:34 because none of their three assistants were at the game.

Jonathan Bluitt added 13 points for ORU while teammate Caleb Green contributed 10 points, 10 rebounds and five assists.

Tony Weeden paced the Cougars with 21 points and Rubeen Perry had 14 points.

Josh Atkinson scored the game's first five points to give ORU a lead it held until the Cougars went ahead 23-22 on Perry's layup with 3:52 left before halftime.

Green made two free throws to give ORU a 28-27 lead at 1:13 and Eric Fowlkes added a basket with three seconds left as the Golden Eagles went into halftime with a three-point advantage. ORU never lost the lead in the second half.
