A bill aimed at curbing meth use in Oklahoma goes to the state Senate.
"The Trooper Nikki Green Act" passed the state House by a unanimous vote of 99 to 0. Oklahoma Highway Patrol trooper Green was gunned down last December while investigating a man accused of operating a mobile meth lab.
The bill would force anyone buying products that contain pseuodephedrine, the main ingredient used to make meth, to sign a log and show a photo ID. Trooper Green's wife and two of his daughters were at the capitol as the bill passed.

The stretch of highway Trooper Green patrolled in Tillman County will also be named after him.
