Tulsa-AP) -- Tulsa and Boise State women played a close game until Tulsa made all six of its free throws in overtime and grabbed the 60-to-54 win.
The Golden Hurricane trailed by one, at 27-to-26, at halftime Thursday night. Then, Tulsa improved to score one more point than Boise State in the second half.
Tulsa set itself apart in overtime, making two field goals and six free throws. Comparatively, Boise State made two field goals and one of its two free throw attempts.
Candice Brewer led the Golden Hurricane with 14 points, five rebounds and three assists. Kara Pongonis chipped in 13 points, three rebounds and three assists.
Lynnette Grondin scored 12 points, snatched five rebounds and had one assist for Boise State.
