(Oklahoma City-AP) -- The state Insurance Commissioner is ordering a group of companies to close, including two insurance companies.

Carroll Fisher says the companies operated by Intertribal Strategic Ventures are not licensed by the state Insurance Department as required by law.

The company claims tribal sovereignty through an affiliation with the Ponca Tribe of Nebraska.

The closure order includes the temporary staffing agencies First American Staffing and Labor Source of Oklahoma City and Labor Works of Tulsa.

Also to close are Rhino Staffing, American Eagle Staffing, How-Ni-Kan Insurance Company and Captive Commercial Insurance Company.
