(Oklahoma City-AP) -- Eastern Oklahoma State College regents have postponed a vote on whether to keep President Bill Campion until February 17th.

The state Regents for Higher Education are investigating a contract Campion signed with a Florida company. The company provided college credits for Florida teachers seeking recertification.

But those students never set foot on the Wilburton, Oklahoma, campus.

State regents found that some of the students were given credit for upper-level courses not offered at Eastern Oklahoma State College.

Their report on Campion is due four days before the college's governing board agreed to meet again.

A state regents report released two weeks ago says the out-of-state arrangement violates academic standards.
