Tulsans needing prescription drugs have a cheaper option. RxExpressway opened its doors on South Peoria Monday.
The Shawnee, Oklahoma based company is another source for cheaper drugs from Canada. Customers can get assistance buying up to a 90 day supply of prescription drugs from a pharmacy in Canada.
Franchise owner Lori Ward says the savings compared to the US price can be used for other necessities. "For some people I've seen there's maybe only $20 difference, but I figure that's $20 in gas or a little bit more at the grocery store."
RxExpressway is just south of 51st and Peoria.
Expressway's owner believes his business is structured differently enough from RxDepot as to not get into the same federal trouble.
For more information on the business, you can visit their web site at www.rxpressway.com.
