Bailey McQuay is a 5-month-old girl from Skiatook who is in desperate need of a liver transplant.

That is why some folks in Skiatook are organizing a blood drive to help pay for Bailey's blood transfusions. The Oklahoma Blood Institute is also helping pay for each blood transfusion Bailey receives.

Blood drive organizer Kara Taylor: "So every person that donates blood at our blood drive for Bailey, they receive one free transfusion. She will get credit for one donation."

The blood drive for Bailey McQuay is this Thursday from 1-8 PM. It's at the old Ambulance Building in Skiatook.
