(Oklahoma City-AP) -- Two finalists to head the state Department of Public Safety are being identified.
Acting Public Safety Commissioner Kevin Ward and retired FBI investigator David Sid are the candidates.
Governor Brad Henry has said there are two finalists for the job. He declined to identify them, but confirms that Ward is a top candidate.
Sid says he is also one of the candidates and has met twice with Henry.
The new commissioner would replace Bob Ricks, who resigned in October to become police chief in Edmond.
