(Wellington, Kansas-AP) -- An Oklahoma truck driver is injured but a Kansas toll collector is unharmed after a tractor-trailer crashed into a toll booth on Interstate 35.
Truck driver Richard Norton of Pauls Valley is hospitalized in serious condition at a Wichita hospital.
The crash occurred at the same toll plaza just north of the Oklahoma state line where a similar crash four years ago killed a worker.
Kansas Highway Patrol John Walters says he's not sure if Norton fell asleep. Walters says there are no skid marks on the roadway and officials estimate the truck was going about 60 miles per hour.
