Oklahoma made a giant leap into the great space race Monday. Rocket-Plane Limited is beginning construction of a new spaceport in Burns Flat.
The idea is to build planes that can take civilians into space. It would be the very first inland spaceport licensed in the United States. Construction should be complete by 2006. That should give you some time to start saving for your trip out-of-this-world.
The going price to see the heavens up close about $100,000.
