Justin Taylor is enjoying the last few days of his Christmas break, home from Iraq and his buddies in the Army.

He almost didn't make it back to Oklahoma. He was in a convoy on its way from an Army base in Tikrit to the airport and the plane that would bring him home. But the convoy was ambushed. He wasn't hurt, but his trip home was delayed for a couple of days.

Just ten days before, his Army radio crackled with some great news. "Yeah, we just caught Saddam. We've got to up security and I was like, what'd he say? He said I think they just caught Saddam." It made for quite a December to remember.

Justin returns to Iraq Sunday. He says he has another four months before he rotates back to Fort Hood, and out of the war.
