A memorial service was held Wednesday morning in Haskell for murder victim Carolyn Simpson and her unborn child.
Simpson was killed more than two weeks ago and her baby cut out of her body. Hughes County authorities believe 37-year-old Effie Goodson befriended Simpson, and then killed her for the baby.
Goodson has pleaded innocent to two counts of murder. She's being held in the Hughes County jail.
