A 50's teen idol is in Tulsa. Frankie Avalon took the stage at the Tulsa Performing Arts Center Tuesday evening in a new production of the musical "Grease".

Avalon plays the "teen angel", the same role he played in the 1978 movie. News on Six anchor Casey Norton talked to the former teenage star. Avalon says he remembers his first stop in Tulsa in 1958, when he performed with Bobby Darin and Chuck Berry.

"I'm very fortunate, and to be in a great theater like here in Tulsa. It's just been great."
