Lawyers are questioning potential jurors in Sallisaw for the retrial of Kenneth Barrett.

He's accused of killing Oklahoma Highway Patrol trooper David Eales during a raid near Vian in 1999. He's also charged with wounding a second trooper and shooting at two other troopers during the raid.

The Sequoyah County District Court jury will be selected from a pool of 121 potential jurors. Barrett's first trial ended in mistrial.
