(Sallisaw-AP) -- Potential jurors are being surveyed for the retrial of a man accused of killing an Oklahoma Highway Patrol trooper.

350 jurors were called, and 115 were sworn in Friday.

The eventual trial is expected to last a month.

Kenneth Eugene Barrett is charged with first-degree murder for the death of Trooper David ``Rocky'' Eales during a 1999 drug raid at Barrett's cabin.

Barrett was first tried in October 2002, but jurors deadlocked.

Attorneys will read the potential jurors' surveys this weekend and start picking jurors Monday.

The 5-page survey asks about personal backgrounds, the morality of the death penalty and a person's right to defend his home.
