New Orleans-AP) -- Add Oklahoma coach Bob Stoops to the list of Sooners winning a national award.

Stoops is the Walter Camp Football Foundation's national coach of the year in a vote by the nation's 117 Division One-A coaches and sports information directors.

Stoops also won the award in 2000 and join's Penn State's Joe Paterno as the only two-time winner of the award. Paterno won the award in 1972 and 1994.
