(Oklahoma City-AP) -- Two men have been hospitalized after exchanging shots with police in southeastern Oklahoma City.
Captain Jeffrey Becker says one of the two Hispanic male suspects fired shots at police who were responding to robbery call at a Save-A-Lot grocery store Monday night.
Becker says when officers arrived the doors were locked and employees were bound and lying on the floor.
Police waited for the suspects to leave building. When the suspects were confronted, at least one of them fired shots at police.
Police fired back and both suspects were injured.
They have been taken to OU Med Center. Becker says their injuries aren't life threatening.
Officers and store employees were not injured.
The men will likely face charges of robbery of a business with a firearm and at least one of the suspects could face charges of assault of a police officer with a deadly weapon.
Becker says other charges could be filed, depending on the investigation.
