Two brothers are homeless this evening after a fire ripped through their home Friday night.
One of the victims say they wouldn't have made it out alive if it weren't for their four legged friend.
News on Six Reporter Patrina Adger talked to Jimmy Cole who says he was fast asleep in the living room when he felt his dog licking his face.
When he woke up he noticed his house was engulfed in flames.
Jimmy and his brother grew up in their house and bought it from their dad ten years ago.
They both made it out of the burning home safely thanks to this beagle terrier they call "Shady Lady".
Jimmy says they've lost everything including their Christmas tree and presents.
He says their four legged hero even lost a puppy in the fire.
The Coles are living with their sister right now. Damages are said to be around $50,000.
Investigators say the fire was caused by faulty wiring in the house. The Red Cross has helped Cole out with food vouchers.
There's a bank account set up at the Tulsa Credit Union. To help them recover contact any Tulsa Federal Credit Union.
