Two people died Wednesday afternoon in a single car accident in downtown Tulsa. It happened at the intersection of 5th and Denver.

Tulsa Police say a car was southbound on Denver at a high rate of speed, when it lost control, flipped and hit a light pole.

The driver died and so did the front seat passenger. The driver's name hasn't been released.

An 11-year-old survived the crash, and was sent to the hospital.
