Saturday is National America recycles day. And in conjunction with that, Tulsa's Metropolitan Environmental Trust has teamed up with Frontier Recycling to help get rid of your unwanted tires.
That means you can dispose of any old tires for free, no questions asked. MET director Michael Patton, "tires are a real safety and health problem for America, they are breeding ground for mosquitoes, they're ugly, tired of old tires."
So gather up all your old tires and take them to the Drillers Stadium Parking lot at the Tulsa County fairgrounds.
Enter through gate 7. They'll take tires from 10 AM to 3 PM.
As we said, it's free, but there is a limit, only ten tires per vehicle.
