(Buford, Georgia-AP) -- A welder from Oklahoma has died of burns he suffered in a pipeline explosion in Buford, Georgia.

Brian Lipe died yesterday in an Atlanta hospital after being critically injured in the Monday explosion. Another welder was also injured and remains hospitalized.

Lipe's body is being sent to his family in Tulsa for funeral services.

The explosion occurred as the two men worked on a six-water pipeline and officials are still trying to determine the cause of the blast.
