Body found in east Tulsa creek identified

Tulsa Police now know the identity of a woman whose body was found wrapped in a carpet and thrown in a creek Wednesday.

They say her name is Alisha Thomas and she'd been stabbed several times in the back. They say she was a dancer at the Showplace Lounge and was last seen a week ago.

Tulsa Police say one of her friends says Thomas was high on drugs and acting bizarre so she kicked her out of the car near 17th and Memorial.

She didn't report her missing until Thomas had missed work for a week.
