Broken Arrow Police are trying to piece together a shooting that killed a Tulsa woman.
Broken Arrow Police responded to several calls of gunfire just before 11 Tuesday night. When officers arrived they found 34-year-old Ladonna Chapman slumped over the steering wheel of her car.
Emergency workers tried to save the woman but were unsuccessful. A short time later a man went to a Tulsa police station and confessed to the murder. Tulsa Police Captain Brad Clark: "At approximately 11:05 this evening, a man entered our lobby at Uniform Division Southwest and advised our desk officer he had just shot his ex-wife in Broken Arrow. The Tulsa Police Department is currently assisting the Broken Arrow Police Department in the investigation of this shooting."
The suspect is identified as 32-year-old Abdel Salam; he faces first-degree murder charges. Police are looking for a weapon.
