(Oklahoma City-AP) -- An Oklahoma County judge says a preliminary hearing for former WorldCom chief executive Bernie Ebbers will be held December 1st.

Ebbers face 15 charges of violating state securities laws as part of the now bankrupt company's accounting scandal.

WorldCom now operates as MCI.

Oklahoma Attorney General Drew Edmondson filed the charges in August against Ebbers, the compandy and five other former company executives.

They're accused of falsely inflating the company's profits and hiding expenses in an $11-billion accounting scandal.
