Searchers combing a rural area near Bristow for double murder suspect Scott Eizember say they saw him in the area early Sunday.

In a press conference at the search site Sunday a spokesman said Eizember was seen by a searcher looking through a pair of bionoculars. By the time law enforcement reached the area where he was seen Eizember had vanished.

More than a hundred law enforcement officers from 20 agencies are involved in the search. Eizember is believed to be hiding in a rural area southwest of the city of Bristow near the airport. The search area now has been reduced to less than one-third of a square mile.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says four teams are rotating in and out of the search area. OHP Lt Chris West: "We have all these resources, we can get plenty of sleep. We have plenty of food. We're able to put fresh people in there. Then Eizember on the other hand, he's one guy doing it by himself."

Searchers say they believe they also spotted Eizember Friday night through infrared cameras but Sunday's sighting is the first time he has actually been seen since disappearing into the woods two weeks ago.

The search continues today.
