Even after studying what went wrong against Oklahoma, the Texas football coach says he's still trying to figure out how it happened.

One solution may be personnel changes, although Brown would admit to only one in the wake of the Longhorns' 65-to-13 debacle against the top-ranked Sooners.

Brown says redshirt freshman Vince Young will replace Chance Mack as the starting quarterback against Iowa State on Saturday. Young threw for 135 yards with two interceptions and rushed for 127 yards, including a 59-yard run.

Young's poise under pressure also impressed Brown and his teammates.

The Longhorns fell nine spots in the poll to Number 20, ending a streak of 50 straight appearances in the top 15.
