(Bartlesville-AP) -- A November 17th trial date is set for a former Bartlesville post office worker who's accused of taking money mailed to a non-profit group.
Sherma Leach is accused of taking up to $270,000 that was mailed to Voice of the Martyrs.
Federal prosecutors say Leach intercepted 80 letters containing at least $30,000 in cash and $270,000 in checks. She was a distribution clerk in the downtown Bartlesville post office at the time.
Leach faces up to five years in prison if convicted.
