A Cushing High School student is behind bars for an alleged stun gun attack. Police say 18 year-old April Dawn Jaynes shocked her ex-boyfriend with a stun gun at school on September 18th.

Jaynes is charged with possessing a weapon on school property and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon. Jaynes claims the stun gun was her ex-boyfriend’s and she was returning it to him.

If convicted Jaynes could be sentenced to 12 years in prison and fined $5,000. Her preliminary hearing is set for November 17th.
