A former Tulsa teacher, who admitted she had a sexual relationship with a student, has pleaded guilty to four counts of rape.

Brandi Smith will be sentenced in December. She was arrested and accused of having sex with a 15-year-old boy. Smith taught at Franklin Youth Academy - an alternative education program for middle and high school students.

The boy was one of her 8th-grade students. The boy told investigators he wasn't forced or threatened. But it's illegal for an adult to have sex with someone younger than 16.

By law, the boy was too young to consent.
