Glenpool Public Schools says it is saddened by the loss of its superintendent Beau Slemaker. He passed away Saturday night of cancer.

School will be cancelled Wednesday so students and staff can attend a memorial honoring Slemaker for his 25 years of service in education.

Cathy Koley has been named interim Superintendent.
