Tulsa's king of the jungle has died. The Tulsa Zoo says Shaka died on Wednesday.

Shaka was a 15-year-old African male lion whose health had been declining over the past month. The zoo hasn't said yet how Shaka died.

He was a favorite among guests. The Tulsa Zoo is already looking for a new lion.
