Some Broken Arrow students witnessed an important lesson in citizenship Wednesday. Haskell Middle School hosted a citizenship naturalization ceremony Wednesday.

600 students got to watch the final step in becoming an American citizen. Haskell Middle School Principal Philip Tucker: "It's a great civic lesson. It lets them know there are people who want to be citizens of the US. There is a birth right of course, we often forget being a citizen of this country is something great."

25 people took the oath of citizenship at the school Wednesday.
