Tulsa's Resource Recovery Facility was shut down briefly Thursday morning because of a chemical irritant.

The facility at 2122 South Yukon turns household trash to energy. During that process Thursday, an employee complained to management that his eyes were burning.

The plant was shut down briefly while HAZMAT crews check everything out. No one was injured and the plant is back up and running.
