(Oklahoma City-AP) -- Tinker Air Force Base will host 70 planes as Hurricane Isabel approaches the North Carolina coast.
The F-15 Eagle fighter aircraft from Seymour Johnson Air Force Base in North Carolina will begin arriving at Tinker Tuesday.
Tinker spokesman Ron Mullans says it could be a tight fit at Tinker because all of the 552nd AWACS wings are home.
Also, the reserve air refueling fleet is on ground along with other Air Force planes undergoing routine maintenance.
