(Warrensburg, Missouri-AP) -- Central Missouri State tied an MIAA record with three safeties against Langston, but that was the least of the Lions' problems in a 75-to-6 blowout.
Central Missouri rolled up 502 yards of total offense Thursday night while holding Langston to 62 yards _ including minus-60 yards on the ground.
Senior Mules quarterback Zack Threadgill threw for 168 yards and three touchdowns, all in the first half. Sophomore running back Dustin Patton ran for 105 yards and a touchdown in a mop-up role for Central Missouri in the second half.
Central Missouri is 2-and-0.
Junior quarterback Tony Williams passed for 122 yards and one touchdown for the oh-and-2 Lions.
