We've seen many of our military men and women welcomed home recently. A Tulsa Police officer returned home from duty Thursday.
His entire police squad showed up at the airport to greet him. Officer Alan Westerman spent the last six months serving the Navy overseas. He enjoyed the sight of his family, friends and co-workers. "Fortunately I'm one of these uniforms so I wasn't that scared."
Tulsa Police Sgt Mike Eckert, "with all the guys and gals from our department who have gone overseas to fight the cause so to speak, we feel like it's our duty and our responsibility to welcome them home."
The Westermans left the airport in a police-escorted white limousine.
