DALLAS (AP) _ Tatum Bell of Oklahoma State, Nebraska's Demorrio Williams and Blake Ferguson of Oklahoma were named Big 12 players of the week Monday.
Bell rushed 21 times for 215 yards and three touchdowns in Oklahoma State's 48-24 win over Wyoming. It was his first career 200-yard rushing performance.
Nebraska's Williams had three sacks and caused two fumbles in the Cornhusker's 31-7 win over Utah State. His three sacks ties the school record for most sacks in a game by a linebacker. He had nine tackles, one pass breakup, one quarterback hurry and recovered a fumble.
Ferguson received special team honors after averaging a career-best 48.6 yards on five punts in Oklahoma's 20-13 win over Alabama. He had a career-long punt of 59 yards. Facing fourth-and-10, he threw a 22-yard pass to Michael Thompson on a fake punt late in the third quarter. The Sooners scored on the next play to take a 10 point lead.
