(Oklahoma City-AP) -- Oklahoma City ranks 7th-worst among 50 major cities for allergic reactions in the fall.
The first-ever rankings by the Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America also place Austin and Dallas-Fort Worth among the country's ten worst metro areas for fall allergies.
Doctor Warren Filley with the Oklahoma Allergy and Asthma Clinic says the state has at least 600,000 allergy and asthma sufferers.
Oklahoma City is one of the worst areas for ragweed, horseweed, buffaloweed and pigweed.
