Problems are mounting for Oklahoma's oldest horse racing track. A federal judge has rejected a bankruptcy protection plan for Blue Ribbon Downs in Sallisaw.
That gives operators little chance to stay in control of it. The judge says Horse Races Inc. continues to report losses and he doesn't think the track can successfully reorganize. The ruling means the city of Sallisaw will again try to foreclose.
Earlier this week the Oklahoma Department of Labor revealed it's investigating track owners for allegedly not carrying workers compensation insurance.
