Next weekend marks the end of the traditional summer lake season. But many area lakes are seeing low water levels.
Skiatook Lake is sitting at a little more than five feet below normal, and that can be dangerous for folks who use the lake. Park rangers say to watch out for things like trees and rocks that could be submerged in low water.
They expect the water to be about eight feet below normal by mid-September.
