OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) _ A toll-free hotline has been established to help Oklahomans who are trying to stop smoking.
The Oklahoma Tobacco Helpline is paid for by the Oklahoma Tobacco Settlement Endowment Trust Fund.
The trust fund was established by state voters in 2000 when the state began receiving its share of the national tobacco settlement.
The hotline began taking calls earlier this month, and was to be formally introduced during a news conference Wednesday at the state Capitol.
The number to call is 1-866-PITCH EM (748-2436).
