First-degree murder charges have been filed against the suspect in last month's triple homicide.
Tulsa County District Attorney Tim Harris says based on the evidence against Lorenzo Brown, he's been charged with three counts of murder. Brown is accused of shooting to death Karen Chappel, and her sons, 17-year-old Whitney and 14-year-old Kalin. Kalin was also stabbed.
Detectives believe drug selling by Whitney was the motive and that his mother and brother were probably killed because they were witnesses.
An elderly man and a toddler also in the home at the time of the murders were not injured.
