(Norman-AP) -- Oklahoma quarterback Brent Rawls says he's at O-U to stay.
Some speculated Rawls would transfer from the Sooners after being named fourth on the quarterback depth chart, but Rawls says the thought never crossed his mind.
Rawls admits he was disappointed, but declined to elaborate and says he'll go to practice each day to work his way up the depth chart.
Rawls came to Oklahoma three years ago from Shreveport, Louisiana, as a Parade All-American.
He missed a chance to be the backup quarterback last season after tearing a thumb ligament in pre-season, then suffering a concussion after falling out the back of a pickup truck.
