(Kansas City, Missouri-AP) -- Oklahoma State coach Les Miles called returning quarterback Josh Fields a tremendous player.

The junior threw for a school-record 3,145 yards a year ago.

And he has one of the conference's top targets in senior wide receiver Rashaun Woods.

Miles -- speaking in Kansas City, Missouri at the Big 12 Media Day -- said Thursday that any offensive team must be settled in their game plan for quarterback.

Half of the teams in the Big 12 must replace a quarterback and start a new or unproven one this season.
