A Tulsa Police officer is recovering after an accident early Tuesday morning. Police say another driver turned in front of the officer at Pine and Lewis.

The officer had 24 stitches to one of his ears. The other driver was taken to the hospital, his injuries are not serious. The police car was totaled.
