During his years of entertaining, Bob Hope made several stops in the Sooner state.

One was back in 1947, when he was the parade marshal for the Will Rogers Day celebration. He even broadcast a national radio show from Claremore.

In the 1980's, Hope spoke at an ORU graduation ceremony, poking fun at Oral Roberts himself.
