Fire heavily damaged a house in midtown Tulsa Thursday afternoon. Fire crews were called to the home near 39th and Sandusky a little after noon.

When they arrived, smoke was pouring out of the attic. Crews worked quickly to contain the fire, but had to back off when the heat from the fire set off ammunition inside the house.

No one was home when the fire started. The cause is being investigated.
