(McAlester, Oklahoma-AP) -- A man convicted of killing a 39-year-old man and his teen-age son ten years ago has been executed by the state of Oklahoma.

Bryan Toles apologized to the family of Juan and Lonnie Franceschi as he lay strapped to a gurney moments before he was given a lethal injection.

The Franceschis were shot after Toles forced his way into their home in an attempt to get the keys to their car. The widow and mother of the victims watched the execution. She said she's no-one to judge and is grateful Toles apologized.

Shortly before passing out from the injections, Toles said, ``I love all y'all. Thanks for coming. Take care of my mother.''
