(Oklahoma City-AP) -- A man who told federal authorities he committed at least six bank robberies in the south Oklahoma City area has waived his right to a preliminary hearing, paving the way for a trial or a guilty plea.
Leroy Kim Leo was arrested July 11th in connection with the robbery of a Bank of Oklahoma branch inside an Albertson's grocery store.
A court affidavit says Leo told FBI agents he robbed that bank, along with two others.
The affidavit says he robbed a Bank One three times and a Midfirst Bank twice, and ran over an automated teller machine.
A preliminary hearing is used by federal judges to determine if there is enough evidence to show probable cause that a crime was committed.
